Meet the Founder

Dr. Ivan Misner is the founder and chief visionary officer of BNI (Business Network International), the world's largest business networking organization. He launched BNI in 1985, and now, BNI has over 11,000 chapters in 79 countries around the world, helping thousands of small and medium businesses grow through referrals and good business relationships. The core philosophy of BNI is Givers Gain.

Dr. Misner is recognized as the "Father of Modern Networking" for his efforts in teaching people how to build professional relationships. He is a New York Times bestselling author and has written 30 books on the subject of business networking and success. In addition, Dr. Misner is a contributor for articles on "Entrepreneur.com," is a former professor at seven universities and currently serves on the Board of Trustees at the University of La Verne.
